Best weather app

All the information you could ever need, well laid out and easily accessible from every section, Including the Notification Center.

Stupidly smart

You know how weather apps are always beautiful with no point? This app is everything it says it is: nerdy. But like, revenge of the nerds nerdy. Its accurate to the tiniest of numbers everyday. They care so much and it shows. Theyve actually made my life easier, living in one city and working in another. Thank you, smart people!

Awesome weather app

This works better than expected. Calendar integration was an unexpected surprise. I love it.

Best Weather App + Dark Sky

Awesome app that uses Dark Sky information to present its data. This app takes everything to another level. Buy it!

Fantastic!

I love the way the weather info is presented in this app. They pack a lot onto one screen, but its clear and easy to understand. Weather Facts, “Nerd Out”, and Nerd Ball are all great bonuses. The only thing that would make it better would be if the day’s pollen count was listed down there with the highs and lows.

Data is Beautiful

This app does an unbelievably good job at presenting a large amount of data in a compelling, intuitive, and functional way. Design matters.

Best weather app

What more can I say? Look no further.

its ok

I keep getting the stupid missing now report error you have to pay four dollars a year for this thing? It should be one time and thats it no animation on the radar instead of fixing bugs, they put in a stupid breakout paddle ball game. How about we fix the bugs in the app first? Before playing games

Great when it works

Great when it works, but it often doesnt with no one to contact for help when that happens. Not good. Even a problem with the paid version. What am I paying for again?

Love it

I travel frequently for work and this app is very thorough & helpful. Love this app.

Best yet

Ive churned through an embarrassing number of weather apps, and this is my favorite. My only complaint is that the iPad version insists on portrait orientation.

We need landscape in settings,

Great app ,landscape please

Are you a WeatherNerd?

I love weather apps. I have a folder dedicated to them. WeatherNerd is the only one that gets to live out of the folder and on the first page of my home screen. I really appreciate the feature that shows what youve got scheduled in Calendar so you can see what the weather may do at that time. The watch app is fantastic too! It even manages to display the radar. Overall, this is a grade A app. $3.99 might seem a bit steep when youve got so many cheaper/free choices, but WeatherNerd is well worth it - if not more!

Great Wx App!

Im a sailor in the Chesapeake Bay area and needed a good wx app that shows temp, wind speed/ direction, precipitation all in one easy graph presentation. Also good for anyone planing outdoor sports or business activity that needs to know/ plan optimum time for painting, lawn work.

Great but no precip amt or complication

The primary thing I want from a weather app is the ability to quickly determine how todays temp will compare to yesterdays, and if and when there may be any precipitation. Weather Nerd is ideally suited for that task because it presents these data in a single line graph, which the brain can process much faster than reading a lot of text (although there are also text summaries for those who prefer that). Most importantly, in the Today panel (within the main app) or the Day widget (for the iOS today view in notification center), the app uses a static x-axis for time (with 12 am or 3 am as the starting point, as chosen by the user) so you always can look at the same part of the graph to quickly determine forecasted conditions (for example, what will the temp be like at noon when I usually run, or will there be rain at 6 pm when I typically walk my dog) - whereas most other apps dynamically set the starting point of the x-axis as the current time, which makes a graph more difficult to interpret because your brain has to re-calibrate whenever you look at the graph. The app also has great line graphs for forecasts in the next hour and for tomorrow, and a bar graph for the entire week. It can automatically update to your current location. It can send you daily notifications with an overview of the days forecast. It integrates your calendar so you can check forecast during a critical event. It uses the excellent forecast.io data. The list of features goes on and on... Only things keeping it from getting 5 stars are: 1) text summary of weather in iphone/ipad app does NOT include amount of precipitation - such as 3 in. of snow. Instead one has to tap nerd out button. 2) Watch app is lacking any indication of location, and does not have a complication. So I use carrot weather on the watch and weather nerd on iphone/ipad

Nazi Rating App

Its a nice weather app. Unfortunately it forces you to read it every time you open the app which becomes a huge waste of time

Great App

I wish it would rotate on the iPad. Otherwise, its all good.

My favorite weather app

Ive used a lot of weather apps over the years due to the fact the I work outside and the weather dictates how my day is going to go. This is by far the best weather app Ive used.

Tried em all

I keep coming back to WeatherNerd. Gives a great combination of accessibility and richness to the data. Other apps have features that I like but fail to tie it together like this.

An excellent weather app

When the previous weather app I using had its interface redesigned into something unpleasant, I decided it was time find something more to my tastes. I found Weather Nerd. WOW! This has it all. The graphs, user interface, layout, the info displayed is everything I want to know.
